Dear Parents with Children with Autism,

I am writing you to reassure all parents out there that anything is possible for our children. It will be easy for doubt and uncertainty to run and rule your thoughts but stay strong.  Parents must keep fighting for their child(ren) and for the proper care necessary.  Please do not give up or slow down.

You have to be hungry for change that brings positive growth.  You cannot become careless or relaxed at any time with anyone.  You always have to push the child and the teacher for the best outcome.  It will be physically and mentally exhausting but in the end you will see your reward.  No matter how much your child grows and learns, you must always remember that you are his/her voice.  You will see the beauty that comes from your child’s soul that is unlike any other.  May that child’s soul light your continued path for advocacy, education and access.
